Tea tree oil is a natural extract with amazing properties that make it popular for many infectious diseases due to fungi, bacteria and viruses. Scientific studies have shown that tea tree oil can also treat various respiratory problems such as sore throat, cough, asthma and bronchitis.
Here are some of the many uses of tea tree oil
1- For aromatherapy
You can add one or two drops of tea tree oil to a piece of cloth moistened with warm water and inhale it to treat colds, coughs, sunburn, toothache, and all forms of bacterial infection.
2- For acne
Avoid using expensive and unnatural chemical treatments. Just use a wet cotton dipped in tea tree oil on the affected areas of your skin. But be careful not to use tea tree oil as a concentrate, as it may have a severe effect on sensitive skin. By diluting the oil with a little water, blemishes and spots will naturally disappear within one day.
3- Get rid of dandruff
Tea tree oil is very effective against dandruff. Just as it is amazing for treating acne, it can also be used to remove excess oils from the skin cells. As for dandruff, you can add a little tea tree oil (about 3-4 drops to a shampoo bottle) to your shampoo while washing your hair. But be careful not to use the oil directly on the scalp.
4- For nail infection
Tea tree oil can be used for nail care and treating nail irritations as well. Just apply one drop of tea tree oil to the nail, it will act as an anti-bacterial and anti-bacterial agent without any skin irritation.
5- For treating sinus infections
Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial and antibacterial properties, so it is excellent for fighting respiratory infections. 8- To eliminate bad breath
Tea tree oil has a great ability to eliminate bad breath, as it works to get rid of bacteria and germs. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to a cup of warm water and use it as a mouthwash 3 times daily.
9- Detergent for washing clothes
Add 2-4 drops of tea tree oil to detergent for clothes that are prone to fungi build-up, such as woolen clothes. Tea tree oil gets rid of all fungi effectively.
10- Air freshener
You can prepare an air-freshening gel from tea tree oil. All you need is 2 tablespoons of gelatin powder, 20 drops of tea tree oil, ½ cup of hot water, and a clean bowl of your choice.
Then stir the gelatin powder with hot water, then add 20 drops of tea tree oil. Then pour the mixture into the bowl. After the mixture has cooled completely, put it in the refrigerator until the gelatin hardens.
