Cherry-Filled Crescent Rolls

These cherry-filled crescent rolls are perfect for holiday breakfasts or weekend brunches. They are incredibly easy to make, yet the payoff of that melty, fruity filling is so worth it! Your family will surely love this new breakfast favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the can of crescent rolls and separate them onto the prepared baking sheet. Press the perforations together to seal each crescent roll into a rectangle.
  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of cherry pie filling onto the center of each crescent roll rectangle.
  4. Bring the corners of the crescent roll rectangle together and press to seal in the filling, forming a bundle.
  5. Brush the tops of the filled crescent rolls with melted butter.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this cinnamon-sugar mixture over the tops of the crescent rolls.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove the cherry-filled crescent rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  9. Serve these warm cherry-filled pastries straight from the oven and enjoy the delightful combination of fresh cherry filling and flaky crescent dough.
