Description

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers – Juicy chicken cubes marinated in a bold Parmesan-garlic-herb crust, baked to golden perfection on skewers for easy eating. Crispy edges, tender centers, and zero fuss—weeknight dinners just got a major upgrade

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Wooden or metal skewers (if wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat while you prepare the ingredients.

Step 2: Cut the Chicken

Slice each chicken breast into 1-inch cubes for even cooking and easy skewering.

Step 3: Prepare the Coating

In a mixing bowl, combine:

  • Grated Parmesan cheese

  • Minced garlic

  • Olive oil

  • Dried basil and oregano

  • Salt and black pepper
Mix until well blended into a thick, flavorful coating.

Step 4: Season the Chicken

Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss until each piece is evenly coated with the garlic-Parmesan mixture.

Step 5: Assemble the Skewers

Thread the coated chicken pieces onto your skewers, leaving small gaps between each piece to ensure even baking.

Step 6: Bake the Skewers

Place the skewers on a greased or foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.

Step 7: Garnish and Serve

Once out of the oven, let the skewers rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the skewers for the last 2–3 minutes of baking

  • Use finely grated Parmesan for better coating

  • Great for serving on a platter with toothpicks as appetizers
