Description

Broiled Lobster Tails in Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce – Succulent lobster tails broiled to perfection and smothered in a luscious garlic-butter cream sauce with a hint of lemon. An effortless yet decadent dish that feels straight from a fine-dining restaurant. Perfect for date nights or special occasions

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Lobster Tails

  • Using kitchen scissors, cut along the top shell lengthwise from the open end toward the tail.

  • Gently lift the lobster meat through the cut, laying it over the shell for an attractive presentation.

  • Place the prepared lobster tails on a foil-lined baking sheet.

2. Make the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Stir in the lemon juice, heavy cream, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.

3. Brush and Broil

  • Preheat your oven’s broiler on high.

  • Generously spoon or brush the garlic butter sauce over each lobster tail.

  • Reserve about 1/4 of the sauce for serving.

4. Broil the Lobster Tails

  • Broil about 5–6 inches from the heat source for 7–9 minutes.

  • Baste the lobster with additional sauce once during cooking.

  • The lobster is done when the meat is opaque and lightly browned on top.

5. Garnish and Serve

  • Transfer the broiled lobster tails to serving plates.

  • Drizzle with reserved sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.

  • Serve with lemon wedges for a bright, zesty finish.

Notes

  • Choose lobster tails that are similar in size for even cooking.

  • This recipe is perfect for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, anniversary dinners, or when you want to treat yourself.

  • For an elevated twist, drizzle a touch of truffle oil over the finished dish.
