Description

These Butterfinger Balls are no-bake peanut butter treats packed with crunch from cornflakes and coated in smooth milk chocolate. They’re rich, sweet, and irresistibly easy to pop in your mouth—perfect for holidays, parties, or a fun homemade candy fix.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional)


Instructions

1. Make the Peanut Butter Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

  • Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.

2. Add the Crunch

  • Gently fold in the crushed cornflakes, stirring until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

3. Shape the Balls

  • Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.

  • Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

4. Melt the Chocolate

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each.

  • Add vegetable oil for smoother dipping, if desired.

5. Dip and Chill

  • Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating it fully.

  • Return to the lined baking sheet.

  • Chill for another 15–20 minutes until the chocolate is fully set.

Notes

  • These are a fantastic gluten-free treat if you use certified gluten-free cornflakes.
