Description

A comforting, easy-to-make casserole combining savory ground beef, creamy tomato soup, and melty cheese, all baked together with pasta shells for a cozy, hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef

  • 2 cans of tomato soup

  • 3 cups of shredded cheese (any kind will work, such as cheddar or mozzarella)

  • 1 pound of shells (or any pasta you prefer)


Instructions

1. Preheat & Cook:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.

2. Prepare the Pasta:

  • While the beef is cooking, prepare the shells according to the package instructions. Be sure to reserve some pasta water before draining the shells.

3. Combine Ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, tomato soup, cooked shells, and half of the shredded cheese. Add a small amount of the reserved pasta water to help mix everything together.

4. Assemble the Casserole:

  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

  • Top with the remaining shredded cheese.

5. Bake:

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  • After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

6. Serve & Enjoy:

  • Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy this comforting, cheesy dish with your loved ones!

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of cheese depending on how cheesy you like your casseroles!
