  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 500g pasta (farfalle, penne, or rotini work best)

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Prepare the Meatballs

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper.

  • Roll the mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until browned and fully cooked. Set aside.

2. Cook the Pasta

  • Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente according to package instructions.

  • Drain and set aside.

3. Make the Cheese Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  • Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

  • Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and half the parmesan cheese.

  • Whisk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Assemble the Casserole

  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.

  • Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta and gently toss to coat.
