Description

Cheesy Stuffed Meatloaf – A juicy, flavor-packed twist on classic meatloaf! Ground beef blended with sharp cheddar, herbs, and spices, then baked with a golden crust and a molten cheese core. Comfort food leveled up

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ pounds ground beef

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

2. Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, , cheddar cheese, and breadcrumbs. Add the onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Mix well using clean hands or a sturdy spatula until everything is evenly incorporated.

3. Season the Meatloaf

Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and smoked paprika. Gently mix again until all the seasonings are well distributed throughout the meat mixture.

4. Shape and Bake

Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared baking sheet. Shape it into a loaf, about 9×5 inches. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

5. Rest and Serve

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain juices and makes serving easier.
