Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut)
  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened (for a creamy base)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (adds a cheesy, melty texture)
  • ¼ cup sour cream (for tanginess and creaminess)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (for savory flavor)
  • ½ tsp onion powder (enhances the overall taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste (to season)
  • 1 tube (8 oz) crescent roll dough (for a flaky, buttery crust)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

 Prepare the Filling:

  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

 Assemble the Rolls:

  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
  • Roll up the dough towards the tip, sealing the edges lightly.

 Bake:

  • Arrange the stuffed crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed.

 Serve:

  • Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • For a glossy finish, brush the rolls with melted butter before baking.
  • If you don’t have sour cream, substitute with Greek yogurt or mayonnaise.
  • Always taste and adjust the seasoning of the filling before assembling the rolls.
