Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a standard muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just combined—do not overmix to keep muffins tender.
Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin liners, filling each about ¾ full.
