Description

Classic Peach Cobbler – Juicy peaches under a buttery, golden Bisquick crust. Quick, easy, and delicious—best served warm with vanilla ice cream! Perfect for summer or cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sliced fresh peaches (or one 29 oz can, drained)

  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)

Step 2: Make the Crust

  • In an 8×8-inch baking dish, mix Bisquick, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon until fully blended

  • Stir in the melted butter until the mixture becomes a smooth, moist batter

Step 3: Prepare the Peach Filling

  • In a separate mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with the sugar

  • Mix well to coat the peaches evenly

Step 4: Assemble the Cobbler

  • Spoon the sugared peach mixture evenly over the batter in the baking dish

  • Do not stir; the crust will rise around the peaches as it bakes

Step 5: Bake

  • Bake for 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling at the edges

Step 6: Serve

  • Let cool for a few minutes

  • Serve warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

Notes

  • Let the cobbler rest for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the filling to set

  • Perfect for holidays, family dinners, or a cozy night in

  • Great use for peak-season peaches or canned pantry stock
