Ingredients:
- 1 can (28 ounces) Bush’s Baked Beans (or your preferred brand)
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion & herb seasoning
- 2 tablespoons minced onions
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion & herb seasoning, and minced onions. Cook until the beef is fully cooked and the seasonings are well incorporated.
- In a baking dish, combine the cooked ground beef mixture with the canned baked beans.
- Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper to the baking dish and stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Bake the cowboy baked beans in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
