4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
2. Make the Cookie Dough
-
In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until light and creamy.
-
Add in the flour and baking soda, mixing until a soft dough forms.
-
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
3. Make the Cream Cheese Filling
-
In a separate small bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
-
Refrigerate for 5–10 minutes to firm up if needed.
4. Assemble the Cookies
-
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten it slightly in your hand.

Place about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the center.
-
Top with another small scoop of dough, then gently seal the edges and roll into a ball.
-
Place cookies at least 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the tops are just set.
-
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
6. Serve and Enjoy
-
Serve warm for maximum gooey goodness or let them cool for a firmer center.
-
Perfect with a glass of milk or a hot cup of coffee.
