  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

1. Preheat and Prepare

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook the Sausage

In a large skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.

3. Sauté the Aromatics

In the same skillet, cook the diced onion until soft. Add garlic and cook for one minute longer. Remove from heat.

4. Mix the Filling

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Cooked sausage

  • Onion and garlic mixture

  • Shredded cheddar cheese

  • Sour cream

  • Cream of mushroom soup

  • Milk

  • Salt and pepper

Mix thoroughly until smooth and evenly combined.
