Description
Decadent layers of creamy peanut butter filling, smooth chocolate ganache, and a crunchy chocolate cookie crust—all with no baking required! Perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick dessert fix.
Ingredients
-
1 pre-made chocolate cookie pie crust
-
2 cups creamy peanut butter
-
1 cup powdered sugar
-
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
-
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
-
1/2 cup milk
-
1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.
Spoon the peanut butter mixture into the chocolate cookie crust, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
In a heatproof bowl, heat the heavy whipping cream until it’s just about to boil. Pour it over the chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute. Stir until fully melted and smooth. Then, add the milk and stir again to create a pourable ganache.
Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter layer. Tilt the pan gently to spread evenly.
Top with chopped peanuts, if using, for added crunch and presentation.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the pie is firm and set
Notes
-
Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best ganache.
-
Let the pie sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before slicing if it’s too firm from the fridge.
