Dorito Chicken Bake is a cheesy, creamy, and crunchy casserole that combines tender rotisserie chicken, tangy green chilies, and a rich sour cream sauce, all layered between soft tortillas and topped with crispy Doritos. This easy-to-make dish is packed with bold flavors and is perfect for a comforting family dinner.

- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 8–9 flour tortillas (8 inches)
- 1 (7 oz) can of green chilies
- 1 (10.5 oz) can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 bag of Doritos, crushed
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Mix the Chicken Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine:
- Shredded chicken
- Green chilies
- Cream of chicken soup
- Sour cream
Mix well until fully combined.
3. Layer the Casserole
- Place 4-5 flour tortillas at the bottom of the dish, slightly overlapping.
- Spread half of the chicken mixture evenly over the tortillas.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.
- Repeat the layers: tortillas, remaining chicken mixture, and another cup of cheese.
4. Add the Crunchy Topping
- Sprinkle crushed Doritos evenly over the top.
5. Bake to Perfection
- Place the dish in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the Doritos are golden brown.
6. Let It Rest & Serve
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a lower-carb version, swap tortillas for cauliflower tortillas or omit them altogether.
