Four-Ingredient Nougat Bars

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages miniature marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 packages white chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups red and green gumdrops

Instructions:

First Step:

  1. Cut the gumdrops in half.
  2. Layer a baking dish with parchment paper, ensuring there is enough paper hanging over the sides.
  3. Bring a pot of water to a boil on the stove.

Second Step:

  1. Place a heatproof bowl or another pan over the pot with the boiling water.
  2. Add the miniature marshmallows, white chocolate chips, and butter to the top dish.
  3. Melt the ingredients in the pan, creating a double boiler.
  4. Stir until everything is melted.

Third Step:

  1. Gently fold in the gumdrops.
  2. Pour the mixture into the baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  3. Let it rest overnight to allow the nougat to set.

Final Step:

  1. Lift the nougat out of the baking dish using the parchment paper.
  2. Cut into bars.
  3. Enjoy your delicious homemade nougat bars!
