Description

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers (68 graham cracker sheets)

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Vegetable oil (for deep frying)

  • Additional melted chocolate for drizzling

  • Extra crushed graham crackers for sprinkling


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chocolate Filling

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter.

  2. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.

  3. Let the chocolate cool slightly to thicken.

Step 2: Assemble the S’mores Bombs

  1. Dip each marshmallow halfway into the melted chocolate.

  2. Immediately roll the chocolate-coated side in crushed graham crackers.

  3. Place the coated marshmallows onto a parchment-lined tray.

  4. Freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.

Step 3: Make the Batter

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.

  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking until a smooth, lump-free batter forms.

Step 4: Fry the S’mores Bombs

  1. Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a heavy skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Dip each frozen marshmallow bomb into the batter, fully coating it.

  3. Carefully lower each bomb into the hot oil with tongs or a slotted spoon.

  4. Fry for 1–2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

  • Drizzle extra melted chocolate over the fried bombs for added decadence.

  • Sprinkle with more crushed graham crackers.
