Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (16-ounce) tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (makes this recipe super easy)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (for a rich, buttery coating)
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese (adds a savory, cheesy flavor)
- ¾ teaspoon garlic powder (for that classic garlic taste)
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano (adds an herby note)
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes (for color and freshness)
- ¼ teaspoon salt (enhances the flavors)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare the Dough:
- Open the tube of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the 8 biscuits.
- Cut each biscuit in half to create 16 pieces.
- Roll each piece into a rope about 5 inches long and ½ inch thick.
- Tie each rope into a simple knot, tucking the ends under.
- Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Make the Garlic Butter Mixture:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried parsley flakes, and salt until well combined.
Brush the Knots:
- Using a pastry brush, generously coat each knot with half of the garlic butter mixture.
Bake:
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.
Final Touch:
- Remove the knots from the oven and immediately brush them with the remaining garlic butter mixture.
Serve:
- Transfer the warm knots to a serving basket or plate. Enjoy fresh from the oven!
Notes
- For a glossy finish, brush the knots with a bit more melted butter after baking.
- If you don’t have a pastry brush, use a spoon to drizzle the butter mixture over the knots.
- Always taste and adjust the seasoning of the garlic butter mixture before brushing.
