Ingredients:
- 500g green beans (blanched)
- ¼ cup mushrooms, sliced
- ¼ each of red, yellow, and green peppers, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Seven Colours Grill Seasoning
- 1 can tuna
- ½ cup mayonnaise or any dressing of your choice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: cherry tomatoes
Method:
- Blanch the green beans:
- In a saucepan, bring salted water to a boil.
- Prepare an ice bath by combining cold water and ice cubes in a large bowl.
- Add the green beans to the boiling water and blanch for 2-3 minutes until they are bright in color and crisp yet tender.
- Remove the green beans from the saucepan and immediately plunge them into the ice bath. Allow them to sit for 5 minutes, then drain them.
- In another saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms, chopped peppers, and Seven Colours Grill Seasoning. Stir to combine.
- Add the blanched green beans to the saucepan with the mushrooms and peppers. Mix everything together and remove from the stove. Allow it to cool.
- Once the mixture has cooled, add the canned tuna (drained), mayonnaise (or dressing of your choice), and chopped fresh parsley. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Optional: Add cherry tomatoes for extra flavor and color.
- Serve and enjoy your Green Beans and Tuna Salad!
