Hamburger Casserole 

 Introduction:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups macaroni noodles, cooked and drained
  • Grated cheddar cheese (enough to cover the casserole)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni noodles according to the directions on the package. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Add the chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste to the beef mixture. Stir well.
  5. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup, and drained whole kernel corn.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and the beef mixture to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes.
  9. During the last 15 minutes of baking, cover the casserole with grated cheddar cheese and continue baking until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
