Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ yellow onion
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon freshly minced garlic
- 3 cups water
- 1 jar Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
- 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
Instructions:
- Set the Air Pot to Saute function.
- When it’s ready, add the olive oil and diced yellow onion. Cook until the onions slightly soften.
- Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and freshly minced garlic. Cook the meat until it’s thoroughly done.
- Remove the cooked meat. Add water to the pot and ensure to scrape the bottom well to avoid a Burn warning from the Air Pot.
- Break the spaghetti noodles in half and place them in a criss-cross pattern in the pot.
- Pour the Spaghetti Sauce over the arranged noodles.
- If using, add the can of diced tomatoes on top of the spaghetti sauce.
- Pour water along the sides and over the top of the tomatoes. Gently press down to ensure the spaghetti is covered in water.
- Cover the pot with the lid. Set the valve to sealing, then press the Pressure Cook function.
- Set the cooking time for 5 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to do a natural release for 5 minutes.
- Perform a quick release until the pressure valve drops.
- Open the lid and stir the spaghetti, sauce, tomatoes, and meat together thoroughly.
- Serve the delicious homemade spaghetti with a side of dinner salad and garlic cheese toast if desired. Enjoy your meal!
