Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Fold in the shredded chicken and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is well coated and evenly combined.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the crushed buttery crackers with the remaining cheddar cheese. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the casserole.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5–10 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions, if using, and serve warm.
