Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 24 Hershey’s Kisses
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Prepare Dough: In a large mixing bowl, blend together softened butter, both sugars, peanut butter, and the egg until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Gently mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and milk chocolate chips until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Press into Pan: Evenly press the dough into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake: Bake for approximately 22 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Add Hershey’s Kisses: Upon removing from the oven, immediately press Hershey’s Kisses onto the top of the bars while they are still hot.
- Cool and Cut: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, cut into squares, ensuring that each square has a Hershey’s Kiss in the center.
