- 1 ½ lb. Ground beef
- 2 Bell peppers, chopped
- ½ Onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. Minced garlic
- 1 tsp. Seasoned salt
- 8 Slices provolone cheese
- 4 Large Eggs
- ¼ cup Heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove, begin to brown the ground beef.
- Add Vegetables: When the meat is partially browned, add the chopped onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook until the meat is completely browned and the vegetables are beginning to soften.
- Season and Saute: Add the seasoned salt and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 30 seconds. Drain any excess grease.
- Layer in Baking Dish: Layer the cooked beef mixture in the bottom of a well-greased 9×9 baking dish. Top the beef with the slices of provolone cheese.
- Prepare Egg Mixture: In a bowl, mix together the heavy whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, and eggs until well combined.
- Pour Egg Mixture: Pour the egg mixture over the beef and cheese in the baking dish, ensuring even coverage.
- Bake: Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until cooked through and the top is golden brown.
