  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

Packed with juicy ribeye, sautéed peppers, onions, and mushrooms, then wrapped in pizza dough with melty mozzarella. Perfect for game day or a hearty snack

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak

  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Add the sliced green bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms, cooking until the vegetables are tender, approximately 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

2. Roll Out the Dough:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). On a lightly floured surface or baking sheet, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 12×8 inches.

3. Layer the Filling:

Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese down the center of the dough. Evenly spread the cooked steak and vegetable mixture over the cheese layer. Top with the remaining mozzarella.

4. Form the Breadsticks:

Carefully fold the long sides of the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal and create a stuffed breadstick shape.

5. Bake:

Place the stuffed breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve:

Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice into individual breadsticks. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, season the steak with garlic powder or Worcestershire sauce before cooking.

  • Brush the baked breadsticks with garlic butter for an irresistible aroma.

  • Adjust baking time based on your oven and dough thickness.
