Potato Fritters

Ingredients:

  • 800 grams of potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of cooked beef
  • 100 grams of cheese
  • 1/2 onion
  • Parsley
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 50g (1/2 cup) flour
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Begin by peeling and grating the potatoes. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the eggs, cooked beef (finely chopped), cheese (grated), finely chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to the grated potatoes.
  3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until you have a well-combined mixture.
  4. Gradually add the flour and continue mixing until the mixture reaches a dough-like consistency.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Take a spoonful of the potato mixture and carefully flatten it in your palm.
  7. Gently place the flattened mixture into the hot oil.
  8. Fry the potato pancakes until they turn golden brown on both sides, turning them as needed. This should take about 3-4 minutes per side.
  9. Once done, remove the fritters from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  10. Serve your delicious potato fritters hot and enjoy!
