Red Lobster’s Cheese Biscuit Loaf

  • Author: easysweetmeal
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 1 loaf (8 slices)

Description

Cheese Biscuit Loaf – All the iconic flavors of Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits—but in a golden, sliceable loaf! Buttery, garlicky, and loaded with sharp cheddar, it’s perfect for tearing apart and serving warm alongside soups, seafood, or just on its own.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix (such as Bisquick)

  • ½ cup cold water

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Instructions

1. Preheat and Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Grease a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Make the Biscuit Dough

  • In a large bowl, combine the biscuit mix, cold water, and cheddar cheese.

  • Stir gently until a soft dough forms; do not overmix.

3. Bake the Loaf

  • Spread the dough evenly into the prepared loaf pan.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

4. Prepare Garlic Butter Topping

  • While the loaf bakes, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a small bowl.

5. Brush and Cool

  • As soon as the loaf is out of the oven, brush the garlic-parsley butter over the top.

  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • This biscuit loaf is best served warm and fresh out of the oven.

  • For easier slicing, use a serrated bread knife once the loaf has cooled slightly.

  • Great for holidays, potlucks, or weeknight dinners.
