Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped

  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Oven and Pan

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

2. Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the 3 ripe bananas.

  • Add ½ cup creamy peanut butter, ½ cup melted butter, ¾ cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla extract.

  • Stir until everything is well combined and smooth.

3. Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and ½ tsp salt.

4. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can affect the texture.

5. Add Reese’s and Chocolate Chips

  • Gently fold in the ½ cup chopped mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

  • If using, add ½ cup chocolate chips for extra sweetness and chocolatey goodness.

6. Bake the Banana Bread

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

7. Cool the Bread

  • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.

  • Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
