Slow Cooker BBQ Beef Back Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 pounds beef back ribs

Instructions:

  1. Make the Sauce:
    • In the slow cooker, combine the water, ketchup, and tomato paste.
    • Add the brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, and salt.
    • Stir the mixture well to dissolve the brown sugar and salt thoroughly.
  2. Prepare the Ribs:
    • Take the beef back ribs and put them into the slow cooker.
    • Toss the ribs in the sauce until they are fully coated.
  3. Cook the Ribs:
    • Once the ribs are coated with the sauce, put the lid on the slow cooker.
    • Set the slow cooker to Low and cook the ribs for approximately 8 hours.

By the end of cooking, the ribs should be tender and infused with the flavors of the BBQ sauce. The slow cooking process will allow the meat to become very tender, and it should easily fall off the bone. Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or cornbread for a full meal. Enjoy your homemade BBQ beef back ribs!
