Description
Canned dough meets decadence—soaked in brown sugar butter + heavy cream, baked until gooey-crisp, and drowned in icing
Ingredients
-
1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with included icing)
-
½ cup heavy cream
-
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
-
¼ cup brown sugar
-
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or an 8×8 dish for a tighter roll fit.
2. Arrange the Cinnamon Rolls
-
Place the cinnamon rolls evenly in the prepared baking dish.
-
Do not flatten—keep their shape for optimal fluffiness.
3. Add the Cream
-
Pour ½ cup of heavy cream evenly over the rolls.
-
Let it settle around and beneath each roll—this creates an ultra-moist texture during baking.
4. Mix the Brown Sugar Topping
-
In a small bowl, combine:
-
Melted butter
-
Brown sugar
-
Ground cinnamon
-
-
Stir until well blended.
-
Drizzle this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
5. Bake Covered
-
Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.
6. Ice and Serve
-
Remove from oven and immediately spread the included icing over the warm rolls.
-
Let the icing melt and soak into every crevice.
