Ingredients:

  • 4 large turkey wings (drumettes and flats separated)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken or turkey broth
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the Wings: Rinse the turkey wings and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until they’re evenly coated.
  3. Arrange for Baking: Place the seasoned wings in a single layer in a large roasting pan. Pour the broth into the bottom of the pan (this helps keep the wings moist during baking).
  4. Bake: Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. After 1 hour, remove the foil and continue baking for another hour, or until the wings are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Serve: Let the wings rest for a few minutes after taking them out of the oven. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes:

  • For extra flavor, you can marinate the wings for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Serve these turkey wings with your choice of sides, such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
