Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prepare Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
Step 4: Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 5: Combine and Mix

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.

Mix just until combined. Do not overmix.
Step 6: Fold in Chips and Walnuts

Stir in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts evenly throughout the dough.
Step 7: Scoop and Bake

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.

Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes.
