Crockpot Barbecue Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups your favorite Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, freshly minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 4 to 5 pounds baby back ribs

Instructions:

Step 1:

  1. In a zip-lock bag, pour in the barbecue sauce.
  2. Add brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if desired).

Step 2: 3. Zip the bag closed and use your hands to knead the bag, mixing the sauce ingredients together well.

  1. Open the bag and place the ribs inside.

Step 3: 5. Close the bag and shake it to coat the ribs completely.

  1. Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 4: 7. Open the bag and place the ribs into the crockpot.

  1. Pour ¾ of the sauce from the bag into the crockpot, ensuring the ribs are well-covered with the sauce.

Step 5: 9. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours for fall-off-the-bone tender meat or on low for 9 hours for similarly tender results.

  1. For meat that is soft but still on the bone, cook on low for 7 hours.

Step 6: 11. Have some of the reserved sauce available on the table so that each person can add more if desired.
