-
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
-
1 cup whole milk
-
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
-
2 large eggs
Instructions
1. Preheat and Prep
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
-
Stir in shredded cheddar and chopped herbs until evenly distributed.
3. Combine Wet Ingredients
-
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
4. Make the Batter
-
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
-
Stir just until combined—do not overmix, as this can make the bread dense.
5. Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
-
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Cool and Serve
-
Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
-
Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
-
Let the bread cool completely before slicing to avoid crumbling.
-
This bread is best served slightly warm with a pat of butter or a drizzle of olive oil.
-
Makes a thoughtful homemade gift—wrap in parchment and tie with twine!
