Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup Nutella (or any chocolate hazelnut spread)


Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper.

2. Mix the Wet Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas and melted butter.

  • Stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and well-blended.

3. Combine the Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

4. Make the Batter

  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture.

  • Stir just until combined—do not overmix.

5. Add Nutella Swirl – Layer 1

  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

  • Drop spoonfuls of Nutella over the batter.

  • Use a butter knife to gently swirl the Nutella into the batter.

6. Add Second Layer

  • Pour the remaining batter on top.

  • Add more spoonfuls of Nutella and swirl again.

7. Bake

  • Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  • If the top begins to brown too quickly, loosely tent with foil after 40 minutes.

8. Cool and Serve

  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

  • Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.

  • Slice and enjoy!
