Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (14 oz / 396 g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (170 g) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (170 g) butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup (120 g) chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/3 cups (100 g) shredded sweetened coconut

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula or spoon
  • Parchment paper (optional, for easy cleanup)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Pour the melted butter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over the butter and gently press down with the back of a spoon to form a crust.
  3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust. This sticky, sweet layer will help hold everything together.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly across the top, followed by the butterscotch chips, chopped walnuts, and finally shredded coconut.
  5. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown and the coconut is toasted.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares. This ensures clean, even cuts and prevents the layers from falling apart.

Notes

  • Always allow bars to cool before cutting for clean slices.
  • Use parchment paper to lift bars out easily.
  • These are naturally egg-free, making them great for those with egg allergies.
