Method
- Cook breakfast sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Season with black pepper to taste.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place pizza crust on a baking sheet and spread half of the sausage gravy over the crust.
- In a separate skillet, scramble eggs until just set. Spoon evenly over the gravy layer.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Reserve remaining sausage gravy for dipping. For extra flavor, add cooked bacon crumbles or a sprinkle of chopped green onions before serving.
