Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails 6-8 ounces each
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper freshly ground
  • for serving lemon wedges

Method

  1. Preheat the broiler on high and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the middle. Gently pull the shell apart to expose the meat, keeping it attached at the tail end.
  3. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet, meat side up. Brush with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Broil lobster tails for 8–10 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly browned on top.
  5. While broiling, prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan, combine the remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter, minced garlic, and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
  6. Remove lobster tails from oven, transfer to serving plates, drizzle with creamy garlic butter sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Ensure lobster tails are thawed before cooking. Broil carefully as cooking times may vary depending on tail size.
