Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven
  • Spoon or spatula

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated. Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough and separate triangles along perforated lines.
  3. Place a spoonful of chicken mixture on each dough triangle, roll from wide to narrow end, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Prepare a side salad or veggies while baking.
  5. Transfer to a platter, garnish with parsley, and serve warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes with the chicken filling. Add a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy twist, or swap in low-fat Alfredo sauce for a lighter version. Try different cheeses like cheddar or an Italian blend for variety.
