  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 3 cups cooked pasta or rice
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • chopped green onions or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, milk, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cooked chicken, pasta or rice, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Top with remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with melted, golden cheese on top.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired.

Notes

Swap pasta with rice depending on preference. Add vegetables like broccoli or peas for extra nutrition. For a spicy kick, stir in diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce. This dish can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
