Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of each triangle. Fold dough around filling to form a ball, pinching edges to seal.
- Dip each dough ball into melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place dough balls on prepared baking sheet and bake 10–12 minutes, until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.
Notes
For extra indulgence, drizzle with a simple glaze made from powdered sugar and milk, or serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can also try swapping the cherry filling for apple or blueberry for variety.
