Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, tucking sides to form a pillow shape.
- Place the chicken pillows on a greased baking sheet. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and remaining Parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese melts and sauce is smooth.
- Remove pillows from oven, drizzle with creamy Parmesan sauce, and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Use leftover rotisserie chicken for quick prep. You can add a pinch of crushed red pepper for a spicy kick, or swap cheddar for mozzarella for a milder flavor. These also freeze well before baking — just thaw and bake as directed.
