- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Shape the dough into twists and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra touch, drizzle the cooled twists with melted chocolate or sprinkle sea salt on top before baking. You can also chill the dough for 30 minutes before shaping for easier handling.
