Ingredients
  

  • 1 9-inch chocolate cookie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled & halved
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • extra chocolate drizzle or curls (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate with ½ cup cream (using microwave or double boiler) until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour into crust and spread evenly. Chill 10 minutes.
  2. Arrange halved strawberries cut-side down over the chocolate layer, covering the pie.
  3. Beat 1 cup cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe over the strawberries.
  4. Drizzle with extra melted chocolate or sprinkle with chocolate curls.
  5. Refrigerate 1–2 hours before slicing to let everything set.

Notes

For extra flair, drizzle melted chocolate before serving or top with chocolate curls. You can also swap the cookie crust for graham cracker crust. Best served the same day for freshest strawberries.
