Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 sleeve chocolate sandwich cookies about 40 cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened or dairy-free alternative
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
Top Layer
  • 1 cup crushed holiday cookies M&Ms, candy cane pieces, or sprinkles
  • crushed candy canes or mini marshmallows optional

Method
 

  1. Mix crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter or coconut oil until fully moistened.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch pan. Chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Gently fold in whipped cream until the filling is light and airy.
  5. Spread the filling evenly over the chilled crust.
  6. Sprinkle the top generously with crushed holiday cookies and any optional add-ins.
  7. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight to fully set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve cold for the cleanest slices.

Notes

For extra peppermint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint extract to the filling. Store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
