Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust chilled
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping

Method

  1. Place the pre-made graham cracker crust in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the peppermint extract to the cream cheese mixture. Taste and adjust the amount if desired.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture with a spatula, taking care not to deflate it.
  6. Stir in the crushed peppermint candies for added flavor and crunch.
  7. Pour the filling into the chilled graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set.
  9. Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle additional crushed peppermint candies. Slice with a sharp knife and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra festive touch, add a few drops of red food coloring to the filling for a soft pink hue.
