Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, coffee, and optional nuts.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are firm but centers remain soft. Cool slightly on the baking sheet.
- While still warm, roll each cookie in powdered sugar to coat completely.
- Transfer to a wire rack and cool fully before serving.
Notes
For a stronger tiramisu flavor, use espresso powder instead of regular coffee. You may also double-coat the cookies with powdered sugar once cooled for an extra snowy look.
