Ingredients
  

Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened 2 (8 oz) packages
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt pinch
Dough
  • 16 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough 2 (8 oz) cans

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar, egg, vanilla, and salt. Mix until creamy and fully combined.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. Unroll one can of crescent dough, press seams together, and lay it over the cinnamon sugar layer.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Unroll the second can of dough, seal seams, and place over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the top.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars and serving.

Notes

For cleaner slices, chill thoroughly and use a sharp knife wiped clean between cuts. Store refrigerated for up to 4 days.
