- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a mini muffin tin.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll crescent dough and cut each triangle in half. Press each piece into muffin cups to form mini shells.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese filling into each dough cup, then top with 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans or orange zest if using.
- Bake for 11–13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
